Using special graph paper, students draft a game board called a "Pixel Press Floor" by using “creator elements.” When the iPad camera is used to scan these creator elements, the Pixel Press Floor comes to life a video game. Their goal is to use the Geometry shapes to create a video game world for a character to move through. SO COOL.
After their work designing the game, students imported their graph paper into Notability and used geometric notation to label the shapes before sharing with their teacher. This work prepares students for their next activity. Geometric proofs next!
